„Die entdeckten Zwei“

Die Werke von Ayumi Kobayashi & Satoshi Hoshi

Vor 10 Jahren haben zwei japanische Männer ihre Karriere als Maler begonnen. Einer von ihnen, Ayumi Kobayashi, hatte seine erste Soloausstellung in Tokyo. Der andere, Satoshi Hoshi, brach währenddessen nach Berlin auf. Was hat das Schaffen der beiden Künstler, der eine in Japan, der andere in Berlin, in den letzten Jahren beeinflusst und wie verleihen sie dem Ausdruck?

Dieses Mal widmen wir unsere Ausstellung zwei Künstlern, die wir entdecken durften und freuen uns, sie in einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung in Berlin vorzustellen.

- Spendenausstellung für Nordost-Japan -

Vier Jahre sind seit dem großen Tôhoku-Erdbeben vergangen. Die Unterstützung für die Betroffenen und Opfer ist seitens der Regierung als auch des Volkes weniger geworden, trotzdem befinden sie sich in schwierigen Zeiten.

Aus diesem Anlass wollen wir in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rock-Paper-Scissors Cafe (ehemaliges M1 Café) im Aufbau Haus an die immer noch prekäre Lage erinnern und unsere Ausstellung mit einer Spende verbinden. 10% des Erlöses der verkauften Kunstwerke, Bücher und Accessoire gehen an eines von drei Hilfsprojekten, SOS Kinderdorf Tôhoku,
Wiederaufbau des traditionellen Kunsthandwerks aus Fukushima oder den Einsatz und Ausbau von regenerativer Energie in der betroffenen Region.
Die Käufer werden gebeten, uns das von Ihnen zu unterstützende Projekt zu nennen.

“Wir haben nicht vergessen, und zusammen werden wir stark sein und weitermachen” - mit dieser Einstellung zeigen wir unsere Unterstützung und Anteilnahme. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn Sie uns in dieser Sache mitunterstützen und unserer Galerie dafür einen Besuch abstatten.

Die drei Hilfsprojekten:

1. SOS Kinderdorf Tôhoku / 子供の村東北

This is one part of the SOS Childrens Village. Since the earth quake on 11.03.2011, many children have lost one or both parents. This village offers a long-term support to provide a loving family environment for all the children who cannot live with their own family.
Children Village Tohoku started in June 2012 as a NPO, and with the support of many people - step by step - planned, built and could open the village on December 19th, 2014.

2. Ohori Soma Pottery - Matsunaga Kiln - / 大堀相馬焼 - 松永窯 -

Ohori Soma Pottery has the history of 300 years in Namie City, Fukushima prefecture.
By the earthquake on 11.03.2011, Namie City was hit by the Tsunami, kiln (oven) were destroyed. The radiation of the nuclear power plant, which was only 20Km away, has forced all the potters to escape, and deprived the possibility to keep using the local minerals.
But they did not give up - they have built new kiln, and even developed an alternative ingredients. Young staffs have helped to rebuild and even broaden the possibility - by creating new design, marketing tools, and selling routes at trendy places and abroad. And they strive to continue - the 300-year-history.

3. PV Owner Network Japan / NPO 太陽光発電所ネットワーク (PV-Net)

The NPO PV-Net was founded in 2003 to provide a platform for all the solar power plant owners - not only for companies but also for cities, groups and private person. Their ultimate goal is to contribute to the creation of good quality life with a save energy source.
After the earthquake in 2011, one of the project PV-Net has done was to support small groups and towns in the hit region to build their own solar power plants - which successfully produced electricity for selling. It has lightened up the peoples courage, and it also provides electricity to the local people in emergency case.
The donation from us will be used directly for the support in the region, which was hit by the earthquake.
